What is fast fashion?

What is upcycled fashion?
Upcycling gives an existing textile or garment a new purpose without treating the original material as waste.
Instead of starting from zero, designers begin with something that already exists. The material becomes the foundation for an entirely different piece.
The result is not simply recycled clothing. It is redesigned clothing.
Why upcycled clothing feels different
There is another benefit that cannot easily be measured: individuality.
Mass manufacturing is designed around repetition. Thousands of nearly identical garments may be produced from the same pattern.
